What a fantastic Victorian School Day in Fowey Class. They have taken part in the 3Rs - reading, writing and (a)rithmetic, carried out Drill (the favourite lesson of the day), created their own piece of cross stitch, learned a Victorian poem, practised writing with chalk and ink pens, sung the national anthem and eaten Victoria sponge cake. The children have learned so much about Victorian School life – the dunce hat and the cane went down extremely well and the children looked fantastic in their costumes!!
