Ocean Climate Roadshow
On Wednesday 5th February, Year 5 and Year 6 loved the Ocean Climate Roadshow!
Taylor "That was awesome!"
Jack "That was the coolest thing ever" talking about a combustion experiment.
The children spoke about how energy is created and used in different ways. They spoke about by products of this energy use - in particular carbon dioxide.
They undertook experiments to show the effect that CO2 can have in a range of situations. The children were then able to use some VR goggles to explore the Plymouth Marine National Park from their seats. The wonderful learning the children had participated in culminated in an assembly to the whole school exploring the five key ways we can look after our environment.
