Loveny Class Explores History at Restormel Castle
Loveny class had an exciting visit to Restormel Castle on Tuesday, 11th July. They were in awe of its size and recognized the features they had learned about in school. The students participated in a feature hunt and discussed the castle's physical geography, connecting it to its historical significance. Inside, they learned about the rooms and enjoyed a talk from a knowledgeable staff member. They even performed their poem before an audience in the castle. The day concluded with sketching within the castle's grounds. The visit was a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning, igniting the students' curiosity and appreciation for history.
